The last time I wrote to ya’ll I was talking about a seriously personal thing. But because I am open, honest and on a serious quest to get TIGHT, RIGHT, LIGHT and BRIGHT. It’s really important to me that

I keep you all posted on nothing less than my progress.

So it’s been a serious 2 weeks since I’ve had meats, meats from chickens, cows, pigs, goats, and lambs. I have broached over into fishes and scrimps well that is because it’s tasty and I am a burgeoning athlete

(insert laugh) who needs the protein J.  It’s been rough, because meats smell and taste delicious.  I made this pact with myself and 7lb 6oz baby Jesus during the most American holiday of all. Who does that!?!?!?

Crazy asses like me that’s who!

On Sunday, my friend’s hubby smoked ribs and additional seasoned meats n treats.  All I could do was lick the ribs and rub them over my salads and veggies. I did the same with bacon I made Lolo for breakfast but don’t judge me Family, I think I told you before LOVE IS A BATTLEFIELD boo I am playing to win!  He was a little upset but he figured it was my way of making sure it was safe for him.

I’d say the hardest part was the 4th celebration to date. However, the benefits I’ve experienced have outweighed the lack of meats I’ve been able to consume. I am still juicing see my Tiger Bloods below, and I am eating copious amounts of humus and wheat crackers. I haven’t really lost weight maybe 12 ounces, but I feel better which is what I was going for. Maybe it’s a psychological thing. But I have been sleeping better, had more energy and have noticed better skin and all around body health. I’m not saying try it, but I am saying tap into your inner Gangster ;-). Eat veggies!

The beautiful thing is my journey has inspired my little one to be as healthy as he can too. The Fittest on Earth not only exists for the Games. It exists in my home too. He inspires me to be the best I can every day.  Kaleo Shaylasssonnn does WERK!!!!
