As we quickly approach our 6 month mark under new ownership, we (The CFS Staff) wanted to send out a big Thank You to everyone in the CFS Family. Change is hard, and we wanted to let you know how appreciative we are for your help in making the transition as seamless as possible. It has been a fun ride so far – and we are SO excited to see where we will be as a gym in another 6 months!

Shayla’s Corner


Monday in circle up the question  was asked what was the longest nap you’ve ever taken. I had an answer of course, but it required explanation. I took a 24 hour nap in October 2000. As a sophomore at DU, I was under a lot of academic pressure. My roommate swore it was mono.But it wasn’t studentitis that had me down. After a few doctors visits they told me I had Lupus. Aha!!!! So what does that mean for me?  Well it means taking good care of myself, take pills, stay out of the sun and have as much fun as possible. I realize how blessed I am to move as much as I do and as long as my body allows, I’ll keep showing up at CFS to crush  or be crushed. You know what I’m sayin!?!

You know I think I’ve  done 3375.87 squats this week. A slight exaggeration but as I told you week one I’m obsessed with my thighs. Yes I let the juice loose on ya’ll, I had the full nerve to wear shorts… collected 0 dollars, and thwarted arrests. I’m  currently reading an LOA  (Law of Attraction) book focusing on  gratitude. I’m  super grateful to 7lb 6oz baby Jesus for what he gave me. Our bodies are amazing, miraculous PERFECT machines. We have to learn to love  everything  about ourselves , every flaw, every freckle, ingrown  toenail, or  wild growing nose hair. The people of Walmart have led me to the light.  Let your  freak flags fly CFS.. let your “juice loose”
