Registration for 2014 Turkey Challenge opens TODAY at 9am!

What’s so special about the Turkey Challenge?

First, you start with the vision, experience, and passion of six-time CrossFit Games athlete Patrick Burke. Then you scale the event to a level that gets people’s attention in 2014:

  • Over 300 Athletes
  • Over 1,000 spectators
  • Over 40,000 Sq Ft of indoor/outdoor Event Space
  • Three Competition areas with seating for 500+
  • Athlete Warm-up Areas
  • Vendor Village for up to 20 Vendors
  • Live DJ
  • Cash & Prize Purse


Then you host it at MBS CrossFit, one of the largest CrossFit gyms in Colorado, located in an airport hangar at the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport. The 16,000 Sq Ft facility boasts amazing views from the flight line of both downtown Denver and the Flatirons mountain range of Boulder.

Finally, you add the region’s most dedicated athletes who have trained all year to see how their skills hold up against the best of the best.

This combination of vision, scale, world class facility, stunning backdrop, and elite athletes is what makes the Turkey Challenge so special!



Friday, November 21st: Early registration from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Saturday and Sunday, November 22nd-23rd:  8-5 pm.

Additional schedule details will be posted on the blog the week of the competition.



There will be two days of registration:

Monday, October 6th:

9:00 AM – All Pros (individual AND teams)

1:00 PM – All Masters


Tuesday, October 7th

9:00 AM – All Open (individual AND team)

Pro team: 12 spots
Open men: 48 spots
Open women: 48 spots
Open team: 36 spots
Masters men: 24 spots
Masters women: 24 spots

*We reserve the right to change registration numbers as necessary in order to make the event run as effectively as possible.



Cash purse to be announced!



We are looking for judges that will hold athletes accountable to the movement standards. Understanding of common CrossFit movements and range of movement standards is a must. CrossFit Level 1 certification is a plus, but NOT required. Judges will have a training session on Thursday, November 13th and Saturday, November 15th. Judges will receive compensation package to include t-shirt, food, gifts from sponsors, and cash! Sign up to be a judge HERE.
