CFS, Please keep Kevin Ogar in your thoughts and prayers…
While attempting a 3 Rep Max Touch and Go Snatch Kevin lost control of the bar with it crashing down on his back. This accident severed his spinal cord at T11-12. Currently he has no feeling or movement below this point.
Like many young coaches Kevin did not have health insurance and is in the hospital racking up medical bills he can’t afford to pay.
As a community Crossfit does a fantastic job of supporting those in need.
CFS will be holding a benefit WOD this Saturday 1/18/14 to help raise funds to go towards Kevin’s medical bills.
Kevin is uninsured and needs as much help as we can give!! Please come on out Saturday for the WOD ‘Ogar’ at CFS… We will be accepting donations during all classes Saturday!
A. Back Squat @30X1; 5,4,3,2,1; Rest as needed
B. Rear Foot Elevated Split Squat. Build to 8RM per leg.
3 Sets 80-90% Effort:
20 walking lunges
10 burpee box jumps or step up 24/20″
10 thruster 45/35#
15 sit ups
Rest walk 2 min.
Time each set- GOAL is same time per set
