Online Judges Course (2016)

Overview

The 2016 CrossFit Judges Course offers an introduction to the skills a CrossFit Judge will use during any competition. This course includes general information on competition rules, regulations and common movements. Once the movement modules have been reviewed the aspiring judge will test their skills on the Final Exam. These skills should be practiced and maintained regularly. Upon successful completion of this course a Certified CrossFit Trainer may claim 2 CEUs towards their continuing education.

We need a little help filling out our ‘judging bench’ during the open this year.

The course is super informative and you are guaranteed to learn a great deal on what ‘good range of motion’ and solid ‘mechanics’ should look like. Plus to you get a fancy cert that allows you to legitimately ‘judge’ your friends… whats better then that?

 

 

CROSSFIT CLASSES: 

Performance-

A. Three sets of:
Weighted Strict Pull-Ups x 3 reps
Rest 30 seconds
Weighted Strict Supinated-Grip Pull-Ups x Max Reps with same weight
Rest 30 seconds
Strict Pull-Ups x Max Reps
Rest 30 seconds
Strict Supinated-Grip Pull-Ups x Max Reps
Rest 3 minutes

B. Every 8 minutes, for 32 minutes (4 sets), complete the following as quickly as possible:
Row 500 Meters
Run 400 Meters
30 Push-Ups

Fitness-

A. Three sets of:
Strict Pull-Ups x Max Reps
Rest 45 seconds
Nose-to-Wall Handstand Hold x 45-60 seconds
Rest 45 seconds
Strict Supinated-Grip Pull-Ups x Max Reps
Rest 45 seconds
Hollow Rocks or Holds x 45 seconds
Rest 45 seconds

B. Every 8 minutes, for 32 minutes (4 sets), complete the following as quickly as possible:
Row 500 Meters
Run 400 Meters
30 Push-Ups

BOOTCAMP RX CLASS:

A. Every 8 minutes, for 40 minutes (5 sets), complete the following as quickly as possible:
Run 800m (big loop + small loop)
50 DUs (Sub = 40 stick jumps)

– Score each set
